Stars and Stripes (Steve x Reader)

It was early Saturday morning when the first of the suns light began to illuminate the darkness of your quarters. Flooding your room with the dawns early light, welcoming you to the new day.


In a unwilling manner you began to stir, as you awakened from a deep slumber.


A loud yawn graced your pink lips before turning over and snuggling up to the man that laid naked at your side.


As the previous nights events began to replay in your mind, a brilliant crimson blush graced your once paled complexion.


His broad toned chest raised slowly with each even breath he took. You smiled to yourself as you gazed to the blonde at your side, enjoying the warmth his body gave off.


'How lucky could one girl be?'


Unable to contain yourself any longer, you raised your hand slowly before tracing small invisible pattern's along the top of his chest and neck.


After a few more minutes he began to stir at the caress of your soft finger tips before finally giving in and opening his eyes to greet a new day.


A small giggle made its way to his ears as he stretched his arms and legs out for a moment before yawning loudly.


Looking down at his side he saw you smiling back up at him in utter bliss. The thin bed sheet was wrapped around your naked form tightly. In silence you sighed as you laid your head a top his chest.


“Happy Birthday Steve.” You sighed before placing a small kiss to his neck.


“Good morning beautiful.” He chuckled as he wrapped his arm around your small frame, leaving no room between you both as he drew you closer to him.


“Is there anything I can do for the birthday boy?” You asked in a drowsy tone while snuggling yourself further into his side. Suddenly you felt his soft lips against your forehead leaving a small kiss upon your soft skin.


“No. This is perfect.” Steve sighed as he closed his eyes once again in bliss.


“Whatever you say Capt.” You smiled before dozing off once again in the arms of your lover.
