Graciously your fiance grasped your palm tightly as he pulled your chest flush against his breast. A startled gasp escaped your lips as you felt his toned muscles heave against your figure.


In an instant the man had changed his demeanor in a manner of seconds as he lovingly pulled the delicate veil away from your face. Looking upon your form lustfully. “My lady from this day forth all I live for is to serve you and our kingdom.”

The crowd stilled as the ceremony started to commence. Loki sat proudly upon his golden throne before his people, overseeing this glorious day.


Happily he looked to you knowing that their two kingdoms; their realms would be united from this day forward.


Though still he did not fail to miss the way your fiances eyes roamed over your body greedily.
Something snapped within your fathers mind at the very sight. A darkened frown crossed your kings lips as a threatening glow quickly illuminated his eyes.


This union may bring peace between two realms. But never at the cost of his own daughters happiness. He himself had been forced to walk that lonely road, lied to, abandoned, and forsaken.


In his haste Loki had sought out a suitable suitor for his daughter, wishing to keep her safe and happy before she took the crown and title as Queen of Asgard.


Only now too finally realize he was reenacting the own fate his 'parents' had once cursed him with so long ago. All choices and decisions being made in your absence, as you were shielded from the truth of his own actions. A future unwanted. You though deserved far better this day, and he himself would see to it.


Just as you began to utter your vows, the king caught a small glimpse of your saddened expression. His brows narrowed at the look plastered on your face.


Yes in truth you may have appeared happy to any other eye in the kingdom, but Loki himself could tell that underneath it all you were broken. It was all a facade. An act you had put on.


“If anyone objects to this union before us, may they speak now or forever hold their peace.” The high priest announced loudly.


Your father remained quite and yet ever so vigilant at the moment, just as the priest opened his mouth beginning to speak once again before the people your father finally interjected.


“I do.” Loki called out. Raising himself from his heightened crown of power as he made his way down the steps nearing your side.


“I cannot stand by as I look down upon this unsanctioned union. The reflection within my daughters eyes tells me all I need to know. She may be your soon to be queen yet she, and only she shall discern the man to claim her hand.” Your king hissed before turning to you as his demeanor suddenly softened.


“I realize this day I have made a grave mistake upon my judgment, and I can only pray to the gods that have came before us all that your princess shall forgive her fathers haste and rashness. I have only wanted the best for you, and to ensure your safety.” Loki whispered the last of his words as his fingers tips graced your cheek in a loving manner.


“This marriage has been annulled!” Loki shouted as he stood before the people of Asgard, slamming the staff to the ground before his golden throne violently. Simultaneously ending the conversation at his given word.


The entire room filled with gasp as the king made his way to you. “My dear daughter, I can see that you have no love for this man. If you wish to marry another of your choosing, I shall not stand in your path.”
